And here we go again now on to Day 3!! laadeedum.

Day 3 (12 Nov) In the morning, we took the waterbus to Murano, an offshore island, to watch a Glass blowing demonstration... Venice used to be famous for it apparently, and in the ancient times, the people who know how to make the beautiful pieces of glasswork weren't allowed to leave Murano or teach others how to carve them... nowadays though, i guess we are allowed to see how they make them.. as we made our way there, we managed to see an entire group of people rowing what seemed like a boat.. only the people were standing up and rowing it and they were dressed in the same colour of the boat, and we happened to get a picture of this pink boat with people dressed in Pink...

anyway, we reached Murano and went into the workroom to view the glass blowing demonstration.. we saw this guy heating up the glass so it was flexible enough to be bended...

We all went back to the hotel after that and started talking... and talking... and talking.... seriously gossiping all the way till 3 am... at 1am the receptionist actually came up to our room and told us that it was really late and our noise would disturb the other people in the hotel trying to sleep... haha.. just 6 of us girls in that room.. obviously we were gossiping about guys... haha... (me, peiyi, denise, sonia, rachna and faye) laadeedum... well we had a fun time.. then we went to sleep...

Day 4 (13 Nov)

In the morning we went to the Frari to look at paintings... and these weird relics like supposed saints' hands and teeth... disgusting i tell you... *shivers at the memory* ergh... well then we went to the Dodges palace, there were huge halls, beautiful paintings and even prisons... yikes... well lunch pretty much cheered up the day... cause we had SEAFOOD!! calamari!! x)) of course the rest of the day spend shopping made the day complete... i managed to get Nicky his present... bet he's gonna love it... wahaha.. and also managed to get a present for Peng Ho... hmm... we then realised we had ran out of time.. especially since we wanted to take a gondola ride... we brisk-walked all the way to the Rialto and managed to get a gondola for 60 euros... we actually thought we were getting a full ride for only 60 euros. although we manged to get some great sights, the ride was only 15 minutes!! ERGH we all felt so CHEATED. BLAH.. humph. well anyway. dinner was this pasta cooked with squid ink (according to mr elwin) it was seriously BLACK. im not kidding.. and the colour of the pasta went onto our lips, teeth and tongue which painted us really goth for the time being... haha... jonathan even said my lips looked like the Kiss of Death.. LOL? haha.... after dinner we were rather tired.. well i was anyway.. and i went back and played dai di with denise for a while... but we went to sleep rather early cause we stayed up much too late the night before and were very very tired then...

haha.. well thats it for the next two days huh... okay fine they are rather short.. but there are quite a number of pictures!! ahha... well you'll have to wait another day or two before i pick my lazy ass up and type another 2 days.. x)) wahaha.. till then... arrivederci! *muax* to my darlings!

Hello people!! i'm finally back from italy!! and i know yall missed me a lot and are soooo interested in finding out what i've been doing huh... lol... yes im back and so is my egoistic self... wahaha... x))) tehehe... sho. i shall comply and tell yall what happened in italy.. one day at a time... so be forewarned.. it'll be a long long LONG post... haha... *takes deep breath* lets go!

Day 1 (10 Nov) my family went to the airport for dinner... and i had salted fish fried rice.. gosh it was yummy... x)) then i went to meet my friends... i was super super early... then i got a call from peng ho.. he was attempting to calm my nerves with very ...erm... weird jokes... heh. cause i was seriously a horrible bundle of nerves... i kept thinking 'what if, what if' its very unhealthy let me tell you... then later when i met all my friends, i finally managed to settle my nerves cause i was too busy chatting with them.. i got my airplane ticket 55G ... we checked in our luggage.. (my luggage weighed 11kg!!) then went through immigration.. i felt so sad waving good bye to my parents and my sister and my grandparents... then we kinda wandered around the place till it was time to go on board the plane... our group, comprising of me, peiyi, denise, rachna and sonia walked towards the gate... i called my mum to tell her that i was going on the plane already.. said bye bye... and i took a deep breath an went with them on the plane... we found our seats... and i was seated at the aisle... and on my left was faye... i was very surprised when the seats were quite big... but when i mentioned it to faye she just gave me a blank stare... hahaha.. poor her.. her long legs were trying very hard to find space to feel comfortable.. you see.. there's another one to add to the list of the advantages of being short... x)) wahaha.. on the plane i managed to watch Cars and Click then i decided to sleep for a while cause i was rather sleepy.. i seriously tried really hard to sleep but i couldnt get comfortable... i do think i did manage to sleep... listening to songs... then later i woke up and watched Stormbreaker and The Devil Wears Prada... although i didnt manage to finish that one cause we had to land. and we finally landed in ITALY!!

Day 2 (11 Nov) We arrived there at 6am in Milan which was 1pm in Singapore... i turned on my phone and expected smses from my parents but found 1 sms from peng ho, who wanted to know if i had arrived okay... i thought it was rather sweet of him... while i was collecting my luggage, i called my mum and told her i arrived already and that i was fine... x)) then as i was waiting for mr elwin to settle some stuff with the coach and for some people to go to the toilet, i called peng ho to tell him that i reached there okay... hmm... oh oh oh.. this is very amusing... joel had gone into the girls toilet cause the guys toilet was out of service i think.. lol.. denise had told rachna that joel was inside but she didnt believe her... until she heard joel's voice inside... erm HAHAHA...

wells then after the big commotion, we went to the coach and took a four-hour long drive to the waterbus which would take us to our hotel in venice... in all honesty, we had nothing to do, so instead of playing cards, denise and i started singing High School Musical songs, well those we could remember the lyrics to anyway... haha... then later we started playing dai di... poor pei yi had travel sickness and had to stop playing for a while.. i gave her one of my travel sickness pills and she fell fast asleep... denise and i were kept singing on and on.. it was quite fun actually.. haha.. after about 2hrs we stopped to get refreshments at an ESSO station... i kid you not... i never knew there were ESSO stations outside of Singapore... lols. oh and as were we noticing the ESSO station, the very observant hong yi went.. Hey! and Esso Station! (only we heard it as 'asshole' instead so we were wondering who he was talking about... ) HAHAHA.. anyway... i went in and was in urgent need of the toilet... which cost us 0.50 euro (or S$1.00) to go in gosh wasnt that expensive?! we returned to the bus and a few of us had bought breadsticks so they got passed around so we could share them (the breadsticks i mean) haha... we carried on on the highway till about another 2hrs then the coach stopped for a while cause i think mr elwin had to settle something... there were other buses parked there and we had parked next to this coach full of teenagers... they were waving like crazy and showing the peace sign... haha... so... like us crazy-people, we waved back! haha... we went off again an then the coach brought us to the waterport... we took the waterbus all the way to the Rialto... where the entire group lugged our bags through the narrow streets of venice to the hotel.. not to mention over bridges, and up and down steps... and we reached the hotel... how did i guess it was gonna be this small little opening among the shops? oh wait.. its a 2* hotel isnt it. *quirks eyebrow* yeah its a good thing for us that we were on the 2nd floor and not on the 3rd or 4th then cause we had to carry our luggage up the stairs... where's the lift? of wait. 2* *facepalm* OKAY enough of being so spoilt.. its good on the arms anyway. haha... x)) we were then given about half an hour to eat lunch.. and my entire group was hungry for pizza!! i shared this gigantic pizza (8.00 euro) with pei yi... then we set off walking with mr elwin as our guide... he first brought us to St Marks Square where we saw St Marks Cathedral... it was really beautiful cause of the structure of the building... and the designs... we went on to see other buildings and churches... then we ate ice-cream... we were seriously crazy... it was already so cold.. and we all wanted to eat ice-cream.. hahaha... we walked back and then went for dinner... i was suffering very badly from jet lag cause during dinner time which was 7pm, it was 2am in singapore... i almost slept during dinner... but thank god for rachna's stories... they kept me laughing and awake... haha i laughed till i cried... well that dinner wasnt bad... pasta, salad and chicken fillet... after dinner mr elwin gave us the choice of going back to the hotel or staying in St Mark's Square... Pei Yi and i were too cold to stay so we rushed back to the hotel :) we quickly washed up and fell asleep...

why am i such a baby. hmm?!? i think i've cried more times in this year alone than i have in the past two years in sec one and two. irritating. rarr... i had this horrible nightmare in which my entire family died in an explosion and i was the only survivor cause i managed to run out in time. good god. then i guess that was the worst part of the nightmare, what i kept asking myself 'am i dreaming? am i dreaming?' and i don't know how i came to the conclusion that i wasnt dreaming and that was the true reality... maybe that was the worst part. i dunno. but i was freaking scared out of my wits. seriously i just wanted to curl up and not move ever...

it was a couple of months back, which i had another nightmare in which i had died and no one had cared... i think i have something with explosions cause thats how i 'died' in that nightmare. honestly i think something is wrong with me... that night i woke up crying... today i was so relieved when i woke up, i just stared at the ceiling for a while... then as soon as i finished washing up i went to give my mum a big hug...

i've heard about people dying, true enough, but the only time it ever hit me hard enough was just after OBS...since then everytime i hear about people dying for unknown reasons like that 16-year-old guy who died on his birthday... it just such shock.. and it makes me sad...

okayOKAY enough with that. i'll probably get all worked up about it for nothing. now i must concentrate on ITALY. yupp yupp im leaving tomorrow night... anyone wanna see me off? *please please please* x)) hahas. well call or sms if ya wanna see me off... or if you wanna just say bye/have a good trip/blahblahblah ya know the normal stuff hahah.. well i got to go pack now.. wheeee.... oh and the weather forecast looks just about brillant! low temps all the wayyyy.. hahas.

okay i wanted to post this yesterday, but my internet went hay-wire for some very odd reason... well anyway. shall post this now.

MY PARENTS ARE BACK!!! wheeeeeeeee imma happy!!!! very very very happy!!!! i feel at home!! *sigh* hahaha.. oh and it's the first time in days that i ate proper food!! haha.. okay la. i shant be so mean... mama's food wasnt that bad la, i just preferred . erm . other food. heh. lols. x)) yeah... i shall tell you what happened today at the airport. =))

sho. we left the house around 12.30pm then we headed to the airport.. Gong gong parked at the airport carpark and we walked into terminal 1 arrival hall... haha, then my grandparents wanted to check the time of arrival of the flights.. but they went to the time of the departures by mistake.. hahaha... no wonder we couldnt find the my parents' flight... haha. so then we turned and found the timing of the arrivals.. and saw that their flight was delayed from 1250 to 1311 instead so we decided to wait at their belt.. which was belt 17 hahas. we waited and waited.. my sister and i were trying to amuse ourselves with music from her handphone and gossiping about guys.. x)) haha .. then i went to check the timing again and it was then delayed till 1317.. sigh.. well at least it wasnt delayed a few hours huh. haha. i wanted to check that they were safe.. as in their plane was headed for singapore and was a confirmed flight. but this morning i had no internet.. i was cursing and really desperately trying to get the internet back to check the flight times and to see if they were okay. fine. im paranoid. xp. hahas

andddddddddd they finally LANDED at 1318. wheeeeeeee i was so happy to see the 'Confirmed' on the board turn to 'Landed' =)))) haha.. when we started to see people streaming out, my sister and i rushed to the railing to see if we could see our parents... anddd we finally saw them... i started waving like a mad person.. x)) sorry la, im uber happy... haha mum saw us and waved back... they got their luggage bag and we went off...

but when we reached home, it turned out that the bag was spoiled. one of the rollers had been (well looked like it had been) violently broken off.. yikes. so. we immediately headed back to the airport to report it.. turns out cathay pacific will send someone over to try to fix it within the next three days... well humph. now i cant use that bag for my italy trip.. sigh. haha.. then we went off to the airport canteen cause really... io ho fame ... and believe me i wasnt the only one.. hahas... then... after all that we went home.. which is where i am right now.. blogging all this.. oh and my mum bought a bag for me!!! its a really nice shade of green and its branded apparently... its very famous in canada.. roots... its supposed to be like OP or Bilabong here in Singapore.. yupps yupps.. i love the bag the material is really really good and nice to feel and the colour and design just rocks. lalalala...

im feeling rather sleepy for some very odd reason.. hahas. so i guess i'll go slack a bit and think about what im gonna wear/bring to italy.. x)) im just so happy my parents are back!! *sighs in relief* well arrivederci! *muax* to all my darling friends... oh and does anyone wanna send me off on friday? im supposed to check in at 9.15pm but i plan on getting to the airport around 7 and eat dinner... slowly... hahha.. so.. anyone fancy a dinner at the airport with me? just call/sms me . love ya all!

i do think i've gone nuts. wonder whats with the updating craze... seriously, i've blogged what on three consecutive days.. and i even wanted to blog again last night, even though i already blogged once yesterday, but this morning i just wanted to complain... just a small request to my room mates in italy... at night, your handphone is either at vibrate, silent or turned off... i dont want to wake up at ungodly hours like 4 in the morning when im supposed to wake up at 6.. thank you. x)) cause my grand dad was sleeping over and he left his handphone on... i was supposed to wake up at 10. (shut up its the holidays, i can slack as much as i want xp) and his phone was ringing and ringing and ringing on and off since 7am .... fine its not an ungodly hour.. but you have to understand.. i was supposed to wake up at 10. *whine*

oh god i sound like some whiny little kid. ew. ergh. fineeee *pout* i shant whine about it anymore... oh blah.. ooo time for the good stuff... tiny wishlists and stuff... x)) and the first one shall be on....

grrrr its only the second day my parents are away at that conference, and im already missing them. how am i gonna last for another 5 days? if only i could go out, then at least it would take my mind of it for a while... even if it is for a few hours... hahas. but sadly i cant go out, mum's rules... sigh. there's a class outing again next wednesday, and my parents come back on tuesday, i wonder what are the chances i can go for the outing... rather slim i guess.. but there's always hope, so i shall hope i can go for it. hahas x)

today's trip to school and the briefing took my mind off my worry for them and made me really excited about the italy trip!! i was seriously worried about them cause they promised to call us at 3am singapore time, the time they reach vancouver.. but my sister, who waited up till 3 or 4 still didnt get their call.. so in the morning before school started, i went to check out the arrivals at the 2 airports to make sure they got there safely at least.... but the arrivals timing for the vancouver international airport was cut off and i couldnt see if the plane had landed according to time.. grrr

but later during the briefing, i got smses from my mummy saying she got there safely, but their bags got held up at hong kong airport.. grrr... my sister stayed up till 5 am then went to sleep... still waiting for the call...

I REALLY REALLY REALLY MISS MY MUMMY AND DADDY!!! can yall just cut the conference short and come back? pleaseeeeee pleaseeeee pleaseeeee? well in any case, i love you both and i hope you have a fun time there. *sniffles and wipes a tear* love you, come back soon kay... *hugs*
