...past conversations re-playing continuously in my head, like a broken video player
Well if anyone remembers right, my orientation was on the 28 of december... yupps late's the word.. anyway... i got there just on time... blame my mum.. she was pretending that she didnt need to send me anywhere... humph.. hahas... so i got there then i had to find my name in the class lists, when my OGL called me the night before, he forgot to mention what class i was in.. apparently i was in 1B... oogie.. my sister was in 1B when she was in priamary one... hahas... anyway... i went into the lecture theatre (2) and made my way up to the seats where 1B was supposed to sit... horror of horrors... there were no cedarians in my class... yeah.. i aint kidding... no one from my all-time- favourite school... i wanted to cry! (okay maybe not that dramatic but you get the point) anyway... i sat at the empty row above the other rows... one entirely filled with guys and the other girls... and the row below mine was a mix.. and still had seats available... but i didnt want to sit there... its bad enough that there wasnt even one cedarian there... i didnt want to start mixing before i made sure that i was the only cedarian in the class... yes while my plan didnt last for long, my OGLs asked me to sit with the rest of them.. so i asked this girl who had 2 seats available on either side of her whether there was space for me to sit... she smiled and said sure.. so i dumped my bag on the chair and made my way to the seat... i was at a loss of what to do so i took out my handphone and smsed serene who was seated WAAAAY in the front.. in 1E... well it appeared that she didnt turn on her handphone yet... anyway... so i did what any bookworm would do.. i pulled out my book and started reading... *smiles* yes i know.. this is typical 'samantha' behaviour... what can i say? books rule!!! hehehe... good lord im sugar high again... yeeks.... haha.. anyway... later i found out that the girl in question was called Dawn... from tkgs... i dont want anyone to take this personally.. but i dont like tkgs... seriously... even though my mother went to tkgs when she was studying.. its just this inexplicable grudge... dont worry... i didnt say that to Dawn or any of the girls who came from tkgs... im not that bad... sheesh... hmm... well.. nth much about that.. then when everyone was there, we went off for the morning 'ice-breaker' games... and then i found out that my ex-classmate was there... Glen.. primary 1 to primary 4... yes the same Glen that i met when i went back to tns this year... well on with it... we went downstairs.. for a 'break'.. a break so early in the morning... hmm.. i was questioning their sanity... anyway... i was seating on a bench with Dawn and this other really quiet girl... i shant spell her name... in case i spell it wrongly... she has a japanese name... basically the other cedarians walking by recognized me and started talking... they even invited me to seat with with for a while... i declinced... thinking that i should stay with my new classmates... ya know... get to know them better... but the other two people were talking happily and rather quietly so i started my second favourite hobby... day-dreaming... im a pro at it... hehehe... then who should come up and say hi... glen duh.. who were you expecting? some unknown weirdo? hahahas.... XD anyway... the conversation was short... just asking where my sister went.. so i asked him where his sister went to... i cant believe his answer... KC... oh yeah... his sister was the most tom-boyish girl in her year that i knew.. and she was going to a girls' school? wow... hmm.. anyway... after that we started the ice-breaker games... blahblahblah... nothing much to say about that.. you know the common ice-breaker games... double whacko... it was quite fun come to think about it... hmm... lemme think what did we do next? .... errrrr.... i THINK we went back to the lecture theatre... the memory is a bit foggy... but the good news is that i remember what happened... the bad news is that i cant remember what was the exact order... i remember we went for a small amazing race game where we played team-building games... and later when we were supposed to cheer, we ended up cheering tkgs cheers... why? cause there were too many tkgs girls who already knew the cheer... seriously.. youi want better cheers? take the cedar cheers... way cooler and they make more sense... sheesh... cedar all the way!!! yeah man... hmm... anyway... we kept cheering the same cheer the entire day cause the tkgs girls couldnt think of any other short cheers... and they rejected my cheer... where were their minds at? sheesh... anyway.. by the end of the day i got really sick of that cheer... seriously... well i cant really remember the rest of the games but i do remember that we got the most number of points at the end of the day... *grins* there are 6 classes in total... 1A to 1F... each class with twenty-something people in it... near the end of the day, it was time for the parents meeting thing... so everybody went to the auditorium and listened to the speeches... which were quite entertaining and not boring at all.. hehehe... my parents came late cause my mum had to wait for my dad to come home first.. everyone of the TA students got a orientation 'bag' containing a ring-file, a t-shirt, a memo pad, a small memo book and 2 pens, a keychain, a water bottle (NEWater) and a snack... and shockingly enough, they didnt even provide dinner... just 'light refreshments' honestly... i was about to faint by the time we go out of the school which was 9 something... they had to discuss what kind of stuff they wanted to get for my tabletPC... this included insurance... yeah... i know what your thinking... :S anyway... that was orientation... any cedarians my year... yes i do recall that we did have a nicer orientation... and i still remember that my favourite cheer then was 'cedar solid'... i still do like it.. only now my favourite cheer is the Garde cheer... Dynamite... arh wells... hopefully next time i shall get a chance to teach my new calssmates these cheers... hehehe... Boo-yah! toodles darlings... arriverderci! ;P *muax*
PS... mi birthday's coming up... in 24 days... *hint hint* hahaha... *winks*
